Water and sewer service is provided by the City of West Branch. New or change of service can be scheduled by calling the City Offices at 643-5888 or email. If e-mailing a service request, please include name, service location, account number (if applicable), date to start or stop service and forwarding address (if applicable).
A $100 deposit is required for rental properties.
Water meters are read the 20th of each month. Accounts are then billed and mailed the 1st of the month with payment due on the 20th of each month. If you do not receive a bill in the mail, it is your responsiblity to call the City Office at 643-5888. Water meters are read in 1,000 gallons. Water is billed at $4.59 per 1,000 gallons with a minimum bill of 1,700 gallons. Sewer is bill at $4.59 per 1,000 gallons with a minimum bill of 1,700 gallons. A mandatory recycling fee of $4.75 will also appear on your monthly water bill.
As payment, the City accepts check; cash (in the correct amount); bank bill pay; or enroll in our automatic billing program - EasyPay. EasyPay customers can have their bill amount deducted automatically each month from their checking or savings account.

After hours, weekends or holidays, should be reported to the Cedar County Sherrif's non emergency line at 563-886-2424.
Landscape meters may be used for outside watering. The meters track water usage only and are not charged sewer. Call the City Offices at 643-5888 for more information.
