2010 Dog and Cat Licenses Due

2010 dog and cat registration tags are available at the City Office.
All dogs and cats residing within the City of West Branch must be registered with the City by Jan. 31 of each year. Cost is $5 per neutered or spayed dog/cat and $10 per intact dog/cat. After Jan. 31, this fee increases to $10 and $15, respectively.
Proof of current rabies vaccination must be provided at time of renewal/registration. Register your animal at the City Office at 110 N Poplar, West Branch.
A new tag will be issued for each dog each year.

CodeRED Notification System

The City of West Branch has joined the Johnson County CodeRED notification system. This reverse-dialing system will be used in cases of emergency notification and for notification of boil orders for drinking water. Click here for more information and to sign-up your phone number.

Utility Deposit Required for Renters

All new residential renters are required to pay a $100 deposit before
establishing water, sewer, and recycling service.
